Edens Pun’s Thinking

I spoke with a couple of friends today. And the Primary election came about our conversation and a couple of my friends started saying they would like Obama to win because he give us Hope.  As for myself, i’m no looking for Obama to win so he can give me Hope. I want Obama to win because of what he stands for or beliefs and what he will do as a president once he win to improve the economy and help the middle class, the poor, and Students.  I feel that we as blacks, immigrants, should stop waiting for someone else to bring us Hope that things can change or will change, we need to start creating our own hopes because Obama was not waiting for someone else to bring him hopes he went after his own hopes he felt he can make a change so he goes out and do something about it.  Most immigrant had hopes to come to America and make a change from the life style they had in their country so they go out and acheive that hope for a better life in america.  We as black american always wait until someone do something big and now feel they have hope we need to stop that and start creating our own hopes. A lot of people forget that Jesse Jackson had run for primary before and also Al Sharpton had run for primary twice before that should have shown that we had hope but sisnce they did not make it as far as Obama your did not have hope.  The only difference this time we have more famous black celebraties supporting and adorsing Obama. Before that no one had hope because they thought it was going to be like the first three times but things change celebraties got involve and supported Obama He gaing momentum and all a once we have hope where were you guys before the endorsements.  My opinion is that we have to stop waiting for someone else to give us hope and create our own and go for it like everyone else that we waiting for to do it for us.
